Yummy Mummies star Maria Digeronimo fires back at troll, who asks why her six-year-old daughter is wearing makeup and designer clothes

Former Yummy Mummies star Maria Digeronimo was forced to defend her parenthood after a troll asked her why she allowed six-year-old daughter Valentina to wear makeup.

On Thursday, Maria posted a gallery of photos of Valentina sporting bright red lipstick and wearing a $744 Fendi designer dress.

The youngster was out with her younger brother, Cartel Vannini, who also wore a Fendi jacket and Gucci trainers.

“Your kids are cute, but does your daughter always wear makeup?” asked one.

Maria then tersely replied: “She can wear lipstick or lip gloss whenever she likes.”

Although the post received mostly positive comments from fans, another follower complained about Maria’s kids wearing designer outfits.

“Kids shouldn’t be dressed in designer clothes they’ll soon outgrow – how about a donation to the homeless!” raged one.

Known for her passion for fashion, Maria passed her desire for designers well to her children.

In an Instagram post from May, little Valentina poses on a Versace bedspread surrounded by designer handbags from the luxury Italian brand.

Maria filmed the first season of Yummy Mummies when she was pregnant with Valentina.

The series debuted on Channel Seven in 2017 to dismal ratings, but later became a box office hit when it was picked up by Netflix.

Maria left the show after the first season and was replaced by IT pro Iva Marra.

It’s currently unclear whether or not Yummy Mummies will ever return for a third season.
