Young woman banged by five women in a bar for a false nail

Saoirse Daly, 19, punched another young woman at a bar in Warrington, Cheshire, UK after she lost a false nail during an argument that ended in aggression.

“Around midnight, Abbie went to the restroom and was about to enter the cubicle when she realized there was someone else inside,” prosecutor Angela Blackmore said.

The mistake, which could only be fixed with an apology, was enough to start the brawl.

A woman who was with Saoirse asked what Abbie was looking at, so they both went upstairs. The victim was thrown to the ground and attacked with kicks, punches and hairpulling, according to the Chron.

When Abbie made it out of the bathroom, a group waited to continue the fight. Five women ran towards them, threw them to the ground and attacked them again.

The beatings only ended when Abbie’s friend Lewis came to fend everyone off. “I identified myself as a cop and they started withdrawing. Two went one way and three the other.”

Abbey had bumps on the back of her head that hit the ground, bruised her knees and scratched her face. His iPhone was also damaged.

When asked about the attack, Saoirse, who was accused of the attack in September 2021, said she was having “difficulty” after losing her false nail in the bar’s bathroom.

In Warrington Magistrates’ Court, the assailant pleaded guilty to the battery charge and was told she could be imprisoned.

“At this point in time, we are not ruling out community service or custody. All options are being examined,” says the prosecutor.

The other woman who helped in the toilet attack is still awaiting trial.
