Yara Shahidi has taken to the sidewalk in New York City for the promotion of her hit sitcom Grown-ish.
The actress and model were dressed smartly as she was seen seemingly walking the busy streets ahead of her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.
Her busy day also included visiting her Instagram page to promote her spot on the late-night talk show, which taps into the early evening, and to show off her look before she takes to the stage.

Shahidi, 22, looked runway ready all dressed up in a black and white mini dress with a gold floral print.
Only the upper part along the shoulders of the hot number was white, while the rest of the chest and below was the black part.
The gold floral patterns were scattered across the dark part of the mini dress, which seemed to gleam in the afternoon sun.
Matching the floral color scheme, the black star, she opted for a pair of yellow heels while carrying a stylish black handbag.

At one point during her travels when the temperature was in the 40 degrees Fahrenheit for a good portion of the day, Shahidi decided to add a gorgeous yellow jacket to her ensemble.
The stylish coat came complete with a white fur trim along the first half of each sleeve and zipped up to the neckline, which she used on the go.
Seems to be “golden” was Yashidi’s mantra for the day, considering how she flaunts yellow and gold in her fashion choices, as well as in one of her Instagram posts sharing a snippet of Jill Scott’s uplifting sing-along song Golden (2004). .
“How we live in 2023,” she shared in the video’s caption, along with a gold star emoji that showed her flicking her hands through her shoulder-length bob cut.
“I’m livin’ my life like it’s golden – Livin’ my life like it’s golden,” the soul and R&B singer can be heard belting out in the clip in her post.

After flashing her infectious smile, the Minneapolis, Minnesota native got playful with the camera, quickly lowering her hands to give viewers a better look at her mini dress.
The actress would also take to her Instagram stories and share a photo of herself looking to her left.
“Lobby lighting isn’t lacking…” she wrote at the top of the photo, alluding to the mix of glowing light and a dark side of her face.
Shahidi is part of the time in New York City to promote the premiere of the second half of the fifth season of her series Grown-ish, which will air on Freeform later that evening.
