After a noted absence from the Game Awards 2022, Xbox gamers are growing impatient and anxiously awaiting a new speech to learn more about the titles coming in early 2023. Rumors have been building for days about a new presentation format Jez Corden arrives today to provide all the details on what to expect.
Redfall, Minecraft Legends and Forza Motorsport on the agenda?
Of course, this salvo of information should be treated with caution, but the well-informed journalist from Windows Central has repeatedly proven his reliability in the role of “insider”.
With that he reveals that according to his sources, an “Xbox Developer_Direct” will take place on January 25th at 21:00 (French time). The event would of course be broadcast on both official Xbox channels via Youtube and Twitch.
We shouldn’t expect a big E3-level showcase, but rather a format to highlight the titles that are coming very soon. This new initiative would thus make it possible to mark additional communication time in addition to the usual E3 and Game Awards.
This first edition would thus put the spotlight on Bethesda and Xbox, the opportunity to learn more about Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport but also content from ZeniMax Online Studios.
Note, of course, the lack of mention of a specific star field, which would skip this communication time to be presented another time. Let’s at least hope that the release dates of the above games will be announced.
