Vladimir Putin reiterated that Russia will win the war. Yesterday the President was in St. Petersburg to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of the siege of the city that was once called Leningrad and he took the opportunity to speak about the conflict and thank defense industry workers by saying said that much depends on you. This state of affairs makes them almost untouchable in anticipation of a future mobilization that some expected to be announced yesterday: the anniversary seemed rhetorical enough and rumors of the need to send new men to the front for the spring are intensifying. Instead, yesterday, Putin just reiterated that after suffering the silence and rudeness of the West, he attacked Ukraine to restore peace.
