A source reportedly close to Amy Robach said the GMA3 host was surprised by TJ Holmes’ alleged past. This person also told The Sun that Robach had no idea the turmoil their alleged workplace romance would cause.
The source insisted Robach had no idea about Holmes’ alleged past relationships. Just last week the DailyMail ran a story that he was allegedly having an affair with an ABC intern 13 years his junior.
It is said to have taken place in the early years of his marriage to Marilee Fiebig. There have also been claims that prior to his alleged relationship with Robach, Holmes also had sex with an ABC producer.
“She had no idea the scope of TJ’s alleged office romances in the past. She certainly hadn’t foreseen that her relationship would lead to major upheavals outside of her own marriage. She didn’t expect this to cause a scandal,” the source explained.
Holmes and Robach have been tabloid stuff since the photos confirming their alleged romance went viral in December. The couple were both on the air after the release of these pictures.

However, ABC decided to undress her to “weigh the impact her recent disclosure of a romantic relationship might have on the program and the company.”
The source also told The Sun that ABC’s investigation “will look into Amy’s past to try and find any scandal, but luckily for them she’s pretty well behaved.” The Root predicted that Robach would play the victim role to garner sympathy and gain public support. Nothing about their reported behavior and comments shocks us. The aftermath of this scandal will continue to unravel.
