The G7 accused Moscow on Wednesday of “endangering” the Ukrainian region around the Zaporizhia power plant.
“We demand that Russia immediately return full control of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant to its rightful sovereign owner, Ukraine.” In a statement released on Wednesday, the G7 called on Russia to return control of the site to Ukraine, AFP reports.

“It is Russia’s continued control of the facility that is endangering the region,” continued Canada, France, the United States, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan.
Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of bombing the area of Ukraine’s Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe, last week.
