The search for survivors is over. The Ukrainian aid organization on Tuesday announced the end of “search and rescue operations” in the rubble of a building destroyed by a Russian strike on Saturday in Dnipro.

Regional governor Valentyn Reznitchenko reported 45 deaths, including six children, shortly after the research was officially announced.

For almost four days, the emergency services tried to find buried survivors in the rubble of the building. They said 39 people were rescued. The Dnipro tragedy is one of the deadliest bombings at a civilian site since the war in Ukraine began nearly 11 months ago.
