War in Mariupol: Chechens’ Crazy Propaganda Show in the Ruins of the City

Disturbing footage of the Ukrainian port city of Mariupol, which has been reduced to rubble by Putin’s forces.

chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov (45) published a video on his Telegram channel in which nearly 50 fighters pose in front of a ruin in the city.

Islamists are brutal, thunderous battle cries – including “Allahu Akbar” (English: “God is great”). In the background, flames rise from a destroyed administrative building at the Azovstal steelworks. The message: WE are in control of the city.

Observers, however, have considerable doubts as to whether Chechen troops actually play as big a role in the battle for Mariupol as the photos supposedly suggest.

Adam Delimkhanov (52), a Russian deputy and cousin of Kadyrov, appears as a spokesperson in the video. According to the Moscow Times translation, which criticizes the Kremlin, it says: “It can be said that the special operation to destroy and cleanse Mariupol was completed today. President Vladimir Putin’s orders were carried out.”

Publicly, Kremlin tyrant Putin has repeatedly described the war in Ukraine as a precise operation to denazify Ukraine. Civilian casualties would be avoided – at least according to the Russian ruler’s fragile announcement.

The Suspicion: Did Cousin Kadyrov publicize Putin’s REAL instruction when he talked about the demolition order? The broken building in the background also bears witness to the brutality of the Russian war.

Kadyrov himself praised his “brave fighters” and declared: “Mariupol belongs to us!” The fact is, however, that some 2,500 Ukrainian fighters are still entrenched at the Azovstal steelworks. As late as Thursday, the Chechen leader had announced that he would take the factory “before lunch or after.”

But a few hours later, Putin changed the official strategy. Steel mills should no longer be raided, the Kremlin chief said on Thursday. The corresponding order will be withdrawn.

Possible reason for the turnaround: According to British intelligence experts, Russian troops could expect heavy losses if the factory was overrun. This was announced by the Ministry of Defense in London on Friday in its daily intelligence update.

Putin’s decision indicates an intention to contain resistance in Mariupol and free up Russian forces for deployment in other parts of eastern Ukraine, he said.
