VIDEO: Man buys lunch and accidentally receives bag containing almost R$26,000 RIC More

A man went viral on TikTok after buying a snack from fastfood chain McDonald’s and mistakenly receiving a bag of US$5,000 (about R$25,873). The unusual case occurred on Monday (16th) in the USA.

In the video, which has been viewed more than a million times, the boy says as he got into his car and opened the snack, he encountered several envelopes of money.

“I just went to McDonald’s to get my hot dogs and muffins and check out this bag. What is inside? A bundle of deposit envelopes. Why?” he reported, displaying the amount.

The man claimed he needed the money, but he would give it back to the fast food joint anyway. “I have to give it back because I’m a good person I guess. But why put me in this situation? Why are you doing this to me?” adds the frustrated Tiktoker.

Then the pictures show the boy returning the money to McDonald’s while employees thank him for the good deed. He was rewarded with $200 (equivalent to just over a thousand reais) and a promise of free snacks for a month.
