A video leaked on social media shows several journalists from TV Globo celebrating as they learned of last Sunday’s results when former President Lula won another term to rule the country.
Since current President Jair Bolsonaro was one of those who most attacked the press, journalists and channel staff, it would be quite natural to understand that these professionals were happy to see him out of the presidency.
But who didn’t like the effects at all was the broadcaster itself, which detonated the attitude of its own contractors.
TV Globo claims to have more than 15,000 employees, including more than 1,500 in the journalism sector.
Also, according to the channel, it’s not possible to control the political decisions of each one of them, but that still doesn’t tally with political statements within the channel.
