A new stormy episode hit Catalonia this Wednesday evening.
A violent storm hit Catalonia again this Wednesday evening. In Vilanova del Cami (northwest of Barcelona) there is extensive damage and a 13-year-old child is in critical condition.
Injured by a falling branch, he was taken to the Sant Joan de Déu hospital in Esplugues de Llobregat along with other victims.
Other communities such as Barbera del Vallès (north of Barcelona) or Vilafranca del Penedès and La Bisbal d’Empordà were most affected by the tornado-like phenomenon.

A two-year-old baby died of his injuries on Wednesday, seriously injured in a violent hailstorm that had hit La Bisbal d’Empordà near Girona the day before.
