And Vicki Michelle has reportedly traded France for Albert Square after signing for EastEnders this spring.

The 72-year-old actress and host is slated to begin filming for the show later this month and will appear in multiple episodes.

According to The Sun, BBC bosses are confident the new casting addition will be a hit with fans – causing some drama at Walford.

“The bosses are keeping a low profile about her role, but she will definitely cause drama,” a source told the publication.

They continued, “The producers know she is a talented actress and is going to cause a storm with fans.

Web contacted EastEnders representatives who declined to comment.

Vicki is no stranger to the land of soaps, having appeared in Emmerdale in 2007 and portrayed Patricia Foster, who continued as a character until 2009.

While she also spent time at I’m A celebrity… get me out of here! Jungle back in 2014 and was evicted fourth.

The TV star is best known for her role in the sitcom Allo ‘Allo!, which ran from 1982 to 1992 and was seen by millions in 60 different countries.

But last year, Vicki hit back after the TV show was hit with an offensive warning ahead of the show – leading her to declare that “comedy is being atomized”.

Regarding the warning decision, she said: “Comedy will be neutralized – or atomized. I think 80% of this country would love a repeat of comedy like Allo, so 20% could object to some content.

“But people are eff, blind and use the C-word on TV and that’s considered fine. And on reality TV, people make love under a sheet, and that’s okay. There was none of that in ‘Allo ‘Allo.

“We kept low profile, hugged instead of kissed, and used nicknames used during the war when the show was canceled. I don’t think there’s anything in there that would upset a normal person.”

The star also admitted that she was advised by her 33-year-old daughter to stop saying certain things to people.

She was “worried” that she might upset someone if she even tried to laugh.
