We’ve been talking about this for the past few weeks, but now Coffee Stain and Iron Gate are finally releasing the Mistlands update for their Nugget Valheim. This much-anticipated major update, unveiled at the end of November, is finally here and there’s no shortage of new features.

The game teams have therefore published a more than successful animated launch trailer for the release of Mistlands, which refers to earlier trailers of the game, less work. In the patch note written for the occasion and published on the game’s website, we note that Mistlands is the result of 9 months of work. The Iron Gate teams also offer some advice to consider before venturing into the Mistlands.
“One important thing to note is that the Mistlands biome will only spawn in areas you haven’t yet discovered. So if you’ve explored much of your world, you’d better start a new one so you can travel to the Mistlands. As usual, mods will likely prevent the game from launching since they are only compatible with the latest live version of the game. If you have mods, you must either remove them or wait for the mod to update before you can play. »
As I am sure you have understood, to take full advantage of the Mistlands update in Valheim, the ideal is to start a new game. In any case, the occasional newcomers never get bored.
Valheim joined PC Game Pass on September 29th, and console players will have to wait patiently before they can get their hands on the Viking survival game. The game’s release on Xbox Series X, scheduled for early 2023, was formalized last June, as was crossplay between consoles and PC.
