Usually when we talk about it Death Valleyin the US, thinking of the scorching heat typical of the area, this time we’re going to tell you a very different story instead. Flood rain has hit Death Valley National Park, the famous hot and dry park in the California desert. At Furnace Creek they fell well 40 mm in a few hours, paralyzing this area and causing flooding. It’s few compared to our average, but you have to consider that in these areas, on average, the beauty of 48 mm of rain falls in a year.. In short, the amount of water that normally falls in a year has fallen. About 60 cars were hit by the debris flow, while 500 visitors and 500 workers were stranded in the park.
