(ANSA) — WASHINGTON, FEBRUARY 14 — The unidentified flying object shot down over Canadian skies on Saturday was a “small metal balloon with cargo attached to it.”
This was revealed by a Pentagon memo sent to Congress today and read by CNN. The object had previously been described as cylindrical, including by the Canadian government.
In the note, officials also speak of those destroyed over Alaska and at Michigan’s Lake Huron. The first is described as “slowly descending toward the sea after impact,” and the other is described as “the size of a small car,” much smaller than the Chinese spy balloon. (HAND).
