Ukraine sells Eurovision 2023 to UK

It will be the United Kingdom that takes second place in the 2022 edition, rather than victorious Ukraine, to host Eurovision 2023, the European song festival and coveted televised event. This was announced by Nadine Dorries, foreign secretary in the British government of resigning Boris Johnson, after an ad hoc agreement with the Kiev authorities – who have resigned themselves to the war situation – and with the organizers. TV broadcasting is guaranteed by the BBC.
