Russian state news agency RIA quoted an unnamed diplomatic source as saying that Russian demands for the unblocking of Ukrainian exports included the lifting of Western sanctions in various sectors, including financial sectors.

No other authority of either party has confirmed this information.

Turkey’s Defense Minister Hulusi Akar also said Thursday that the deal would be signed at a meeting next week.
