Paramilitary police authorities in Italy seized 120 grams of cocaine from hotel rooms used by The Equalizer 3’s catering staff after the film’s head caterer suffered a fatal heart attack.
Two caterers have been arrested by Carabinieri cops in connection with the drug raid at the hotel on the Amalfi Coast at the Maiori resort, Italian newspaper Il Giornale reported, according to Variety.
Officials reportedly removed a number of small packets of cocaine from his clothing following the head caterer’s heart attack on Monday, prompting authorities to search various areas of production.

According to the report, a third caterer had his driver’s license confiscated after a small quantity of cocaine was found on him.
According to the newspaper, authorities also conducted a search in a port area in Maiori where production of the film was underway.
The film, which is being produced by Sony Pictures and Italian company Eagle Pictures, is in its fourth week of shooting in the region.

The film’s physical production service was handled by Garbo Produzioni and received several production incentives to set up shop there, according to the newspaper.
