“It’s the story of Ana, who goes through a petty theft with her brother (played by Alex de Cotret) and their friends who live together in the same apartment, says the actress, who is in her sixth day of shooting at the age of about twenty. The 32-year-old actress insists: This independent film will break with convention. The director and co-writers (Valérie Chevalier, Alex James T. and Francis Bordeleau) wanted to “go somewhere else” than what’s generally offered in Quebec cinema.
“It’s really an action film that we enjoy making,” the actress continues. It’s like a universe that doesn’t exist, it’s a different Montreal. »
The actress enthusiastically talks about the numerous shooting sequences, the great ambition of the director and the team, the often natural lighting on the set and the stunts that the actors perform with great pleasure themselves.
The film will hit theaters in 2024.
The actress has also just completed the final scenes of the film Farador, a Quebec, France and Belgium co-production slated for a March or April release.

This “hilariously humorous” feature film, directed by Édouard Albernhe-Tremblay, was shot in Quebec last year and at castles in Normandy earlier this year.
The story, known to RPG enthusiasts from the 13-minute short film The Battle of Farador, which was a hit on YouTube in 2006, is about three friends who have been playing the same role in a game in Dungeons and Dragons for 18 years.
Other leading roles include Éric K. Boulianne, Marc-Antoine Marceau and Benoit Drouin-Germain.
