Twilight star Kellan Lutz and his wife Brittany Gonzales announced they welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Kasen Lane, last Wednesday morning.
The happy couple shared the exciting news on their Instagram accounts, with a series of black and white photos from the delivery room, as well as an update on their daughter Ashtyn Lilly adjusting to being a big sister.
“We are in love and sucking up all the baby cuddles. Ashtyn loves her little brother, Koda is the sweetest, gentlest big dog sister ever, and mom and baby are doing great,” the mother-of-two wrote in a joint post.

She continued, “This big boy eats 24/7 and prepares to be built like his father like Hercules.”
“Thank you for all the love and prayers! We are so blessed and in love and can’t believe God has given us another precious gift!’ the divertimento closed.
The pair also shared that their baby was born at 8:52 am and weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces, while photos from Little Kasen’s showed his parents rocking and hugging him.

In February, Lutz set up a very complicated gender reveal for his second child, which his wife recorded and posted on her Instagram.
The video she posted began with Brittany pulling strings from the bottom of a heart-shaped piñata.
In a caption above the video, she explained that one of the cords was attached to a small trapdoor that would release either blue or pink confetti for a boy or girl.
Too cute: She continued: “This big boy is eating 24/7 and preparing to be built like Hercules like his dad.”
Keeping his wife busy: In February, Lutz and his wife announced they were expecting a baby boy — though the actor didn’t tell his significant other very directly

Kellan quickly pulled the plug on that thought, however, by showing her that there was both pink and blue confetti in the piñata.
While at first she thought it might be twins, she quickly found out it wasn’t confetti that was telling the real story.

After collecting them all, she saw that the stack of It’s a Boy coins was larger than the stack of It’s a Girl coins, and Kellan confirmed that they were expecting a boy.

Brittany joked about her own confusion in the caption, writing, “It’s a…!!!!! Kellan really got me on a rollercoaster ride with this one,” followed by a laughing emoji.
The couple announced this pregnancy in January 2022 in a video posted by Kellan, in which his significant other shared the good news.
The cute video begins with a loading pregnancy test that turns into “pregnant.”
Brittany then films her husband relaxing on the couch with his phone in hand.

Realizing what was happening, the actor raised his head and turned to his wife with a smile.
‘We are pregnant? Oh my god, what!?’ he said in an excited tone.
“I couldn’t wait to tell you,” she tearfully said as the two hugged. ‘Did I surprise you?’ she asks, to which the actor replied ‘yes’.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Ashtyn Lilly, in February 2021 after she suffered a stillbirth the year before.
