The impressive pictures from Castellón. At least 20 injured
Twenty people were injured and burned yesterday, Tuesday August 16, when flames blocked a train in Castellón (northeast Spain). They got off the train in a panic and smashed the windows.
Severe fires are active in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. According to the local press, there is particular concern about a fire that broke out near Bejis, north of Valencia, which has resulted in the evacuation of some towns and a campsite. Meanwhile, further south, in the Ebo Valley (Alicante), a large fire is also active: the flames, which forced the evacuation of around 1,500 people, have already burned over 11,500 hectares.
