China is preparing a peace plan which, according to the analyst, contains an element that points to Putin’s defeat.
“Particularly at a time when the ill-fated management of the Covid emergency has left China in economic trouble, the last thing China might want is the opening of another crisis front. Hence the idea of an interesting plan. China is not a credible mediator, but if it lacks its support for Russia, it can lure Vladimir Putin into more lenient advice. There is an important element in the Chinese plan: if they say they want Ukraine’s integrity, question the military achievements that Russia has achieved so far, do not believe that we are at serious nuclear risk at this moment.”
