Tom Daleys husband calls the police after throwing a drink

Tom Daley’s husband calls the police after throwing a drink at a promoter at a nightclub.

Tom Daley’s husband Dustin Lance Black “called cops” into a London nightclub last night after “thrown a drink over a promoter,” it has been alleged.

The pair were at Freedom, a gay bar in Soho, when the alleged argument took place in the early hours of the morning.

They had been drinking at the venue with Teddy Edwardes, 32, who stars in BBC3 show The Big Proud Party Agency, after dining at Avo Mario and watching a drag show at Chinatown’s Ku Bar.

But Ms Edwardes claimed Mr Black, 48, threw a drink in her face after she asked another person at the venue to leave their table.

She then said she gave Mr Black “a little smack on the back of the head” in response, but a source close to the couple said someone “slapped Mr Black on the back of the head”.

Ms Edwardes was then removed from the club and police called, she said.

Ms Edwardes, founder of Lick Events, posted on Instagram and said: “I went out for some quiet drinks with my friends last night, nothing crazy and I met Tom Daley and his husband in Soho who … pretty much for no reason he poured in Freedom a whole drink over me.

“I didn’t have a drink to throw back so I went with violence, it wasn’t that violent, he got a little hit on the back of the head.

“Tell me why he’s crying outside and saying it’s a targeted attack and that he’s traumatized and called the police and I had to wait there for hours while the police asked questions.

“And now I’ve been warned and have to go to interviews.”

A source close to Mr Daley and Mr Black said the couple were on a “date night” last night without their four-year-old son Robbie.

“Someone hit Lance on the back of the head, the person who hit him was removed from Freedom by security who checked the CCTV, it was reported to the police who are dealing with it,” they told The Sun.

“And then this random guy came and sat with us and my friend said they were uncomfortable because they didn’t know who it was, so I asked security if they could take them further…

“Security came to move them on and Tom’s husband started going mad saying how unwelcome I had made him feel and that he was going, so I thought, OK? If that’s what you want Then I drank straight to my face.’
