Throwback Peter Andre’s clip reappears flirting with Judy Finnagan alongside Richard Madeley

A throwback clip of Peter Andre has resurfaced and shows him flirting with Judy Finnagan as she interviewed the handsome young star alongside her husband Richard Madeley.

The 49-year-old Australian singer, then 23, called the then 48-year-old presenter “a dish”, which is Australian slang for handsome, as he looked back on his first-ever interview with This Morning.

Speaking to the show’s current hosts, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, Peter looked back on his 30 years in the industry, starting with the 1996 clip.

In the video, Richard says, “Peter Andre, he’s number three with a hit single, Mysterious Girl.

Everything seems to be fine for the Australian singer, but he really needs to do something about his beer belly.”

It is then cut to Peter’s music video for the hit single, which was filmed in Queensland, Australia.

During the interview, Peter sat on the sofa ready to speak to presenter couple Richard Madeley and his wife Judy Finnigan. He looked youthful as he spoke about filming his latest song.

Judy then blushes a little while her husband Richard watches with nervous laughter, and Judy giggles like a schoolgirl.

Another question, this time from Richard, was, “Are you saying it’s not quite so Lonnie Donergan-ish under that sweater?”

Peter says, “What I’m saying is that it’s not for early morning viewing, I guess!”

Richard then jokingly quips, “Well, it’s better that way, because you’ll be singing live for us at the end of the show.”
