Three Ukrainian pees want to emigrate to Canada

Three young Ukrainians who took part in the Tournoi International de Hockey Pee-Wee de Québec have applied to stay in Canada. According to the Journal’s findings, goalkeepers Matvii Kulish, Dmytro Korzh and striker Yehor Kosenko will return to Ukraine for the time being, but could settle down again in the summer.

These three youngsters are among the five members of Team Ukraine Select still living in Ukraine. Kulish’s father is currently on the frontline, while Kosenkos died there a few weeks ago.

After the tournament, they expressed an interest in staying.

“We have decided not to make a quick decision,” confirmed Sean Bérubé from Quebec. We want everyone to take the time to think and we want to talk to each other with clear heads again. The young people hadn’t even told their mothers when they told us about it. »
