They prefer to live in Florida. This is the conclusion of a WalletHub study that ranks the state among the favorites for living in the United States.

The Sunshine State was specifically ranked seventh on these indicators thanks to the following scores: affordability (33), economy (6), education and health (25), and quality of life (5).

WalletHub compared all 50 states based on five key dimensions: 1) affordability, 2) economy, 3) education and health, 4) quality of life, and 5) security. The ranking left Florida in a very good position.

However, the federal state is one of the places with the highest housing costs (47th place). Just behind are Oregon, Hawaii and California.

In comparison, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and Ohio are the cheapest places to find residency.

Despite the high prices, they prefer to live in Florida

The analysis makes it clear that despite the housing problems, people continue to choose to live in Florida.

For example, New York topped the list of cities from which most people traveled in the last year.

In fact, quite a few companies in the financial and technology sectors have decided to relocate their headquarters to Florida in cities like Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa.

After New York, Georgia, New Jersey and Texas were the cities with the greatest migration to Florida.

It is also estimated that about 1.3 million migrants make up 6.9 percent of Florida residents.

They move to the country for climatic, gastronomic, architectural reasons.

Although generally an expensive region, Florida has cheaper places to live such as Suwannee, Bradford, Levy, Dixie and DeSoto.
