Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of Cuba, highlighted this Friday the work of the Cuban doctors of the Henry Reeve Brigade in Türkiye, who are helping to rescue the victims of the February 6 earthquake.

These are our heroes in white coats who go to every part of the world to offer their help, the prime minister said on Twitter.

José Ángel Portal Miranda, Minister of Public Health, also paid tribute to the work of the doctors who continue to show their solidarity with this nation.

It treats more than 260 patients who have carried out both research work and surgical interventions and measures in intensive care units, explained the owner on the same social network.

The international contingent of Henry Reeve doctors specializing in disaster situations and serious epidemics was created by Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz on September 19, 2005 with the mission of providing humanitarian, medical and sanitary assistance to people who are victims of natural disasters afford and epidemics in other countries and help in their recovery.
