Drones are quite a summer trend in Ukraine when a reggae tune called Bayraktar hits the radio, dog owners call their pooch “Bayraktar” and taxi drivers put the letters “Bayraktar” on their vehicles. The case is actually more serious and could affect the rest of the war. In early August, Turkish company Bayrak announced it would build a production facility in Ukraine for Bayraktar TB2, the famous attack drone that decimated Russian armored columns. But beyond that, an entire country is mobilizing to make Ukraine a pioneering nation in the military use of commercial drones.
