More details of the melee that ended in Takeoff’s assassination have been revealed.
As we previously reported, the rapper take off from migos was shot dead this morning in Houston, Texas. Now TMZ is revealing more details of the confusion that took place before the shooting. In the video published by the site, we see that Quavo I faced a group of men in front of a bowling alley in Houston. take off and others had their backs during Quavo argued for over 30 seconds before the shooting started.
we can hear Quavo argue with someone and take off is a few yards behind him. There’s an argument about a basketball game, and someone possibly Quavo says “I don’t do it like that!” Seconds later there is a single crack of gunshots and as everyone starts running, a barrage of fire is shot through the crowd. You can hear over 10 gunshots in total, and it sounds like they’re from at least two different guns.
Chaos ensued, with people running in all directions to escape the hail of bullets. As we reported take off was shot near his head and, despite efforts to revive him survived Quavo and another man he was pronounced dead on the spot. Quavo was not injured.
Members of the Houston Police Department held a news conference Tuesday afternoon and revealed that a 23yearold man and 24yearold woman were also shot and taken to a hospital for treatment. Police say most witnesses to the shooting fled the scene and are asking them to provide information about what happened.
Days before his assassination, the rapper said he wanted to be cherished while he was alive.
