The teacher who got one of his students pregnant in the late ’90s has been suspended from his School Service Center (CSS). Education Secretary Bernard Drainville has launched an administrative inquiry to shed light on the situation.

The CSS du Chemin-du-Roy stated that it made this decision because of “new elements”. [ayant été] made known to him”, without wanting to specify which ones.
Our Bureau of Investigation revealed a week ago that a teacher who got a 16-year-old student pregnant while also developing an intimate relationship with another teenager was still able to teach.
As of last week, the School Services Center claimed it had “no reason” to take action against its teacher, despite an internal investigation.
“No information allows us to take action against this employee,” said Anne-Marie Bellerose, spokeswoman for the CSS.
