The President of Costa Rica continues the tour of the southern zone

San Jose, February 20 (Prensa Latina) President Rodrigo Chaves continues today his tour of the southern zone of Costa Rica with activities in Golfo Dulce, Puerto Jiménez and in Golfito, both in the province of Puntarenas.

Chaves will visit the restoration in Golfo Dulce based on the coral garden technique carried out in Cativo, then the Guaycara Professional Technical College in Río Claro de Golfito and the La Riviera School in Riviera de Coto, also in Golfito .

Likewise, the Tico President will be present at the installation of the first power line pole in this city of Puntarenas. Chaves began the day Sunday by paying homage to Presidential Protection Unit member Jimarki Badilla, who died in a traffic accident while on duty this Saturday.

The President attended the ceremony announcing the signing of a no-cost loan agreement between the National Learning Institute and the National Production Council.

This will allow the first unit to move the training center from Coto Brus to the Value Added Center facilities in the Agua Buena district.

This expands the range of training courses in order to meet the training needs of all economic sectors of the canton of Coto Brus in the province of Puntarenas, in particular the agricultural industry, in good time.

Chaves had a meeting with leaders in the Altos de San Antonio indigenous territory and in the Corredores Canton of Puntarenas, he attended the delivery of concessions in the border strip or their property rights to 58 families.

This gives them the legal certainty and peace of mind they so desperately needed to live or work.

Also, the House pointed to accessing other government services, including the housing subsidy and even access to credit.

The President of Costa Rica started the tour last Friday and will finish it tomorrow. jf/ale
