The Quebec formation returned to action after their game against the same Whitecaps the previous day was canceled. The visiting club could not fly due to poor weather conditions.

The Montrealers won in the first half when Île-Bizard native forward Catherine Daoust threaded the needle for the second time this season. Brooke Stacey and Deziray De Sousa were accomplices in this network.

Halfway through the first third, the guests drew. Jonna Albers was the author of the success and it was his ninth goal in 15 games of the season.

It was in the third period that the whitecaps took off. Liz Schepers took advantage of another skater and blacked out the scorer list for the fourth time in the regular season.

Sidney Morin and Brittyn Fleming then completed the scoring.

Defense attorney Christine Deaudelin made a comeback in force training. She was injured during the January 22 game against Boston Pride.

Montreal team goalkeeper Tricia Deguire had quite a busy afternoon. The Sherbrooke native pushed 38 of the 42 pucks back her way.

The confrontation that was supposed to take place on Saturday against Minnesota finally takes place this Monday from 1 p.m. in Saint-Jérôme. The organization has also announced that entry will be free for everyone.
