A plane was preparing to take off from London, but ended up back at the gate for a special reason.

The interesting case happened with the British passenger Damien, who was with his family at Luton airport in London, to leave for Paris, where he would spend a weekend at the Disneyland parks with his wife and two children.
What was supposed to be a great family weekend turned awkward when Damien ran out of meds. The 42yearold takes heart medication after a cardiac arrest at the age of 39.
Noticing the lack of medicines, he informed the airport staff, who searched the trash cans, looked in different corners and found nothing. At that moment, the staff looked at the television cameras and saw that another passenger, having passed the Xray, had inadvertently taken his medication, but they could not find him.

In order not to disrupt his family’s plans and not to frustrate his children, Damien decided to continue the journey and headed to the departure gate to Paris, despite knowing that he would run out of medication during the trip.
After boarding and as the easyJet plane taxied for takeoff, the pilot turned and announced over the loudspeaker that he was “going back to the gate to collect something important from a passenger”.
Shortly after approaching the gate, the aircraft door opened and an employee wearing a vest entered the Airbus, handed the flight attendant a package, which he passed on to Damien: it was his medicine, which the passenger had returned, according to the BBC reports, had accidentally taken.
After receiving the medication, staff contacted the airline, who advised the pilot, who decided to return to the gate to ensure the passenger could travel with peace of mind.
The story was echoed by the action of EasyJet and Luton Airport staff. Damien thanked everyone and said the trip to Disney “would be the best thing it could have been” thanks to the staff’s efforts.
