“There are many Marias Bruacas in Brazil who do not perceive this abusive treatment. There is an arc that has been very well fed, which goes through several layers. through a process of enlightenment through the plot. It emancipates itself. It ends extremely happily , as she deserves. You can’t please everyone, some want her to stay with Alcides, others with Levi. She has two ‘stays’: one that’s learning to get on with herself, which is that selflove salvation , and will have her husband.”

“He’s a compelling character, we could work on many characters, multiple layers, and let’s talk about Gabriel’s work, who is an exceptional singer, actor and instrumentalist. It’s very difficult, but for the soap opera to come about, it was written during the pandemic, because the Pantanal has the regime of dry and flood water, depending on the weather conditions, we couldn’t record, we had to write the entire novel before it was broadcast, it is a finished work. Trindade has the path that the plot allows, I can’t say much. It’s definitely a character that will be missed. It’s a bit of hasty sadness.

Bruno is the grandson of Benedito Ruy Barbosa, author of the first version of the storyline. He shared the advice he received from his grandfather when he decided to write the second draft of the novel.

“Just like him who wrote alone, I follow the same thing. He basically said ‘go with God’ it was the best advice he could give because we have to believe what he writes unless the actor reads it has no truth and the public won’t emotionally. It must have a tuning fork and it was the great lesson he gave me about writing as it relates to its truth. When I took the job of adapting, I had to move a lot to bring it into our time, but it was all done very truthfully.
