Audrina Patridge mourns the loss of her niece Sadie, who died Tuesday at the age of 15.
“It hurts my heart to even write this. My beautiful niece is in heaven now,” the Hills star, 37, captioned a 10-piece Instagram tribute that highlighted happy memories over the years.
“I know it [sic] not goodbye forever, but saying goodbye is now the hardest,” Patridge continued.
“We will miss you and cherish every single moment we had with you. rest in peace say say!! We love you forever and ever! ✨🤍🙏.”
The post included photos of Sadie growing up, family reunions, cute selfies, and even a shot of the teen dancing with Patridge at her 2016 wedding to Corey Bohan.

One particularly heartbreaking video featured reality TV personality Sadie and Sadie’s mother, Casey Loza, smiling and laughing for the camera.
Neither Patridge nor her sister — who also appeared in ‘The Hills’ and ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’ — revealed Sadie’s cause of death, but Loza told her own Instagram followers that her daughter’s “story will save countless lives.”

She agreed with Patridge that the announcement was excruciatingly painful, explaining, “Writing that was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
“Sadie liked to remind me that the first law of thermodynamics, aka (the law of conservation of energy), applies to all walks of life… ‘Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another ‘.” the grieving mother wrote. “Transformation is a better word than death.”
Loza concluded her post by saying, “Rest in peace brilliant starseed. You are with your maker. We will miss you very much. I love you.”

Sadie was only 9 days 15 years old.
“It feels like the years have flown by and we have so many more adventures ahead of us!” Loza captioned a clip of her “little clone” blowing out her birthday candles on February 5th.
“You are [sic] so beautiful, kind, smart and funny!! That dry British humour,” she gushed. “I am [sic] I’m so proud to be your mother and I can’t wait to see the insane ancient civilization architecture you will build one day. I love you so much my Sadie Raine ❤️.”
