Two-time Emmy nominee Yvonne Strahovski held a baby Tuesday while pretending that Serena Joy Waterford, the character of her Handmaid’s Tale, was nearly hit by a truck on the set of the Hulu hit series in Toronto.

The widow of Commander Fred Waterford’s (Joseph Fiennes), 39-year-old Australian, looked dapper in a blue cropped blazer over a white camisole, baby blue pleated skirt and baby blue heels, chosen by costume designer Leslie Kavanagh.

Yvonne wore minimal make-up by Karola Dirnberger and Burton LeBlanc pulled her dark blonde locks back into a neat bun for the dangerous outdoor scene.

Strahovski (née Strzechowski) clapped her hands in delight after being guest-directed by fellow castmate Bradley Whitford, who had a season five script tucked in the back pocket of his jeans.

The 62-year-old Emmy winner portrays Commander Joseph Lawrence, founder of the colonies and architect of Gilead’s economy.

On Wednesday, The Handmaid’s Tale showrunner Bruce Miller accepted Twitter to shut down rumored Season 5 episode titles discovered from Above The Garage Podcast, calling it “a mistake.”

However, the two-time Emmy winner admitted in a Twitter reply that the alleged offerings called “Dear Offred,” “No Man’s Land,” and “Allegiance” were “cool titles.”

Emmy-winner Samira Wiley — who plays Moira Strand on The Handmaid’s Tale — appeared on CBS Mornings Wednesday, where she dodged questions about season five’s spoilers.

“I can’t tell you anything! Moira escaped Gilead in the first season and there was a trip and I can’t tell you anything,” smiled the Washington, DC-born, 35-year-old.

‘I find [finding happiness] is a real question throughout her arc as a character on the show. Being in a place like this with so much trauma and escaping, now you are a refugee… There are so many blocks on your way. So I think Moira’s journey is to find happiness.”

Back on April 26, two-time Emmy-winner Elisabeth Moss – who plays June Osborne – appeared on the same program and teased, “It’s about how you deal with freedom when it’s handed to you when you wanted it so badly.

“Is it how you imagined it? And can she ever come back from her experiences in Gilead?’

The fifth season of the critically acclaimed dystopian drama (based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel) premieres September 14 on Hulu.

But audiences will have to do without the character Emily Malek, as Emmy-winner Alexis Bledel announced on May 27 that she is “leaving The Handmaid’s Tale.”

The 40-year-old actress said in a vague statement, “I am forever grateful to Bruce Miller for writing such truthful and resonant scenes for Emily, and to Hulu, MGM, the cast and crew for their support.”
