If the Oscar campaign is successful, it would be the second award for the actors.

Last year, Jessica received the Best Actress award for her portrayal of televangelist Tammy Faye in The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

Eddie received the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

Eddie recently revealed that he went to nursing school to prepare for The Good Nurse, but “blew it like shit”.

The award-winning actor shared how he prepared to play real-life serial killer Charles Cullen by hanging bags of salt and introducing PICC lines.

The star spent two weeks at school mastering the nurses’ acts, though he never went to drama school and just “winged” each role as it came.

Eddie told GQ Hype: “I’ve been totally fucked up, you never want me in a crisis. I don’t have a big plan, I’m just fueling it.”

The Oscar-winning actress stars in the true-crime thriller alongside Jessica, who plays a struggling single mother struggling to make ends meet with her demanding career as a nurse at a New Jersey hospital.

She initially forms a good relationship with a new nurse (played by Eddie), but after several of her patients, who appeared to be doing better, died under unusual circumstances, she suspects him of foul play.

Eddie stars in the film as Cullen, who was responsible for 29 confirmed deaths.

However, the serial killer claimed to have killed up to 40 people, and some investigators involved in the case believe he may have killed more than 300 people.

This makes him possibly America’s deadliest serial killer, according to Charles Graeber’s 2007 story in New York Magazine, which formed the basis of his 2013 book, and hence the film.

Cullen was sentenced to six life terms in 2006 after admitting to poisoning at least 40 people in New Jersey and Pennsylvania over the course of his 16-year nursing career.
