With its large Antonov An124 aircraft, the “little brother” of the huge An225 destroyed in the war in Ukraine, Antonov Airlines carries out special transports all over the world, which not only involve heavy loads, but also objects with dimensions goes beyond the ordinary.

And on one of the recent missions of this type, the Ukrainian airline flew another plane on one of its planes. It’s a business aviation model, so not that big, but still with dimensions that are unlikely to be carried in the fuselages of any other airliner.

In the following recording, released by Antonov Airlines, the scenes show a twinengine turboprop aircraft being loaded onto the Antonon An124. For this special transport, the outer wing panels, propellers, horizontal stabilizer and rudders were removed, but the entire fuselage, vertical stabilizer and inner wing panels could remain assembled.

Despite the release of the video shown above, Antonov Airlines did not provide any further information about the model of the plane or where it was boarded and taken to.

In the caption, the company just joked, “Loading plane on plane.”

The Antonov An124 Ruslan is a heavy military transport aircraft designed by the Antonov Design Bureau in the Soviet Union in the 1980s. It is one of the largest aircraft in the world and has a maximum takeoff weight of over 635 tons up to 150 tons deadweight.

The An124 is mainly used to transport heavy and oversized cargo such as tanks, helicopters and industrial equipment. It features a large cargo hold and front and rear ramps that allow for easy loading and unloading of cargo.
