Samsung just wrapped up its latest Galaxy Unpacked event which, as expected, featured five major announcements. The company has unveiled two foldable phones, new connected watches and an update to its Galaxy Buds Pro range.
Galaxy Z Flip 4, a lightweight update of its predecessor
Announced at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, the Z Flip 4 looks very similar to its predecessor but stands out some new software. You are therefore entitled to preview selfies on the title screen in this new iteration. These previews have the same aspect ratio as the image itself. With fast charging, you can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. This phone can be pre-ordered for around 968 euros even before its availability on August 26th.
Galaxy Z Fold 4, another reveal of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
The design largely corresponds to the predecessor, but is significantly lighter. The most important changes are at the camera matrix level, which wins a new 50-megapixel main sensor. This phone, which is expected to be available on August 26th, is already available for pre-order.
Watches connected to the Galaxy Watch 5 show better autonomy
The Galaxy Watch 4 series suffered from poor battery life. Samsung has decided to overcome this with its Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. wear these latter a larger battery and a body temperature sensor. You can already pre-order them for shipping scheduled for August 26th.
The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro get a makeover
This product features a new design 15% smaller than the original pair. These headphones finally support 24-bit HiFi audio via Bluetooth too. But these updates presented during Samsung Galaxy Unpacked cost relatively more. They can be pre-ordered ahead of their August 26 release.
More recycled materials, the ecological wink of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked
Samsung explained how to do it integrates recycled materials into the design of its products. For example, fishing nets are reused in 11 of its devices, including the Galaxy Z and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
