The engagement video shows an overexcited bride-to-be attacking the fiance TWICE after he gets on one knee

A video posted to social media captured the moment a perfect marriage proposal suddenly went awry in snow-covered Lake Tahoe, when an overzealous bride-to-be punched her fiancé multiple times after he dropped to one knee.

The adorable clip has already amassed more than 10 million views on TikTok, where it was posted earlier this month by the woman who goes by the username mamscarterrr.

The clip, which lasts just under a minute, begins with the woman setting up a camera to take a picture with her boyfriend – seemingly unaware that he is planning to propose to him.

The quick-thinking woman’s vantage point – who said in posts she met her fiancé through a dating app – offered a view not only of the proposal that would result, but of the scenic, snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountains in the background.

Having made the necessary preparations, the woman rushes to her husband, who dutifully stands at the center of the majestic backdrop.

Once in place, the two set off with the proposal, with the man dropping to one knee on the still-icy shores of the freshwater lake that straddles the California-Nevada border.

At this point, the woman visibly cheers, jumping up for joy several times – before she unsuspectingly throws herself into the arms of her future husband.

The display of affection, while heartwarming, saw the doting man unceremoniously lift himself off his seat and lose his footing as he struggled to catch his agitated wife on the slippery terrain.

The pair are then filmed as they fall to the ground, still in a warm embrace despite the cold.

Overcome with emotion, the two roll around in the snow for a moment – before the woman jumps back to her feet and attacks her partner.

The clip, which lasts just under a minute, begins with the woman setting up a camera to capture the proposal, apparently already aware of her future husband's intention to propose to her.
