The Cégep de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue, who always wants to be at the forefront, starts two teaching projects lasting several months.
The aim is to support the adaptation of teaching and develop a vision for the mines of tomorrow, while in the not too distant future Abitibi-Témiscamingue will be invited to work in mines 4.0.
A few hundred people specialized in digital creation or from the industry will therefore meet on Tuesday and Wednesday for the moment of shock conferences, exchanges and a virtual visit to an advanced mine in terms of technology.
The first project focuses on updating university education and the second, aimed at high school students, aims to create a digital experience about the mines of the future.
