Block host Scotty Cam dropped a big bombshell on the contestants this week.
The 59-year-old said teams now have a chance to win a huge $250,000 prize if they win the bathroom week they’re working on.
The prize will be in the form of kitchen appliances to be used in the kitchen week, with the kitchen week coming up soon.

The announcement made the contestants competitive, with Elle Ferguson’s replacement, Rachel, saying, “How funny is it that we’re all best friends now, but when they mention $250,000 I’m like, ‘F**k you lot, I’m out here!’
“It’s a very good chance to win the block,” said candidate Tom.
“Next week you meet the Freedom team to design your kitchens. We have Winning Appliances on board and they want to give a team a kitchen upgrade,” explained Scotty.
The prize will be in the form of kitchen appliances to be used in the kitchen week, with the kitchen week coming up soon

On Monday night, viewers finally got to catch the moment when The Block host Scott Cam announced to the stunned Blockheads that fellow contestants Elle Ferguson and Joel Patfull had decided to quit the show.
The 59-year-old presenter was pulled aside by two executive producers, who revealed to him that the glamorous influencers had decided to leave after just 48 hours on set.
After being told the amazing news, Scott updated the other contestants on Elle and Joel’s decision to leave.
“Last night I gave you all an opportunity – an off – if you thought you couldn’t make it on the show, that you could leave if you wanted to,” the irate host began.

“I didn’t think anyone would pass up an opportunity like this, but I just found out that Joel and Elle are on their way to the airport.”

“Apparently The Block isn’t the brand for them.”
The couple reportedly left after Joel’s mother broke her tailbone and fractured her wrist in a fall at her home in Adelaide.
Following their exit, Elle, 36, shared a photo of the couple’s suitcases at Melbourne Airport on Instagram.
“Wherever you are in the world, whatever you do, family always comes first,” she captioned the picture.
