The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an application for immigrants wishing to reside in this country. With the new digital tool, you can make an appointment in the nation in the north of the Americas to apply for asylum.
First, users must avoid violating Title 42, which imposes sanitation restrictions as a result of the coronavirus. This policy authorizes US authorities on the southern border to return to Mexico emigrants seeking to enter US soil.
Although the CBP One application has been operational since October 2020, it is said to have a larger role at this point. The deployment of CBP One is intended to streamline operations and there will be superior border control in the movement of people and goods.
Foreign citizens must submit their personal information through CBP One prior to attempting to relocate to North American territory. This route regulates, among other things, the screening of imported biological and agricultural items.
The places that will receive immigrants
From January 12 this year, this opportunity was opened to undocumented immigrants who are being held at the border. With the new option, you can legally apply for an interview with the aim of entering the desired position.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the appointments will be made starting Wednesday, January 18 this year. The games, which take place at 9:00 am Eastern Time for 14 days, are published daily.
The CBP shared the entry points for attending the interviews, which will be Brownsville, Eagle Pass, Hidalgo, Laredo and El Paso, all in Texas. There are also Nogales in the Arizona region, Calexico West, and San Ysidro in the California region.
