“The 2024 Conmebol Copa América will be held in the United States in the summer of 2024 and will feature the 10 Conmebol teams and the top six Concacaf teams as guests,” reads the official announcement published on the region’s football association .
The classification method for the countries of Central and North America is via the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League. The goal of this alliance will be to help countries across the continent prepare for the 2026 World Cup, which is being jointly organized by Mexico, the United States and Canada.
