A new trailer for the series shows the ups and downs of their lives.

Whether they’re connecting with their kids and partners, or confronting the hardships in their lives, fans seem to be privy to everything.

The trailer also teases a surprisingly familiar face that makes an appearance – Jenelle Evans, who was previously fired from the show.

She is seen making a brief appearance at a party, which seems to have caused quite a stir.

While there were plenty of smiles in the trailer, it wasn’t an easy road for everyone off-camera.

It was reported last month that Amber had lost custody of her four-year-old son James after a three-year court battle with her ex and the boy’s father, Andrew Glennon.

According to a report by The Sun, an Indianapolis judge granted the 32-year-old Teen Mom OG star’s ex sole legal and primary physical custody of their child.

In addition, the judge approved 38-year-old Glennon’s motion to move with James from Amber’s home state of Indiana to his family’s home in California.

According to the outlet, the judge ordered Glennon “to seek and consider the mother’s opinion before making important decisions regarding the child’s medical treatment, education and religion.”

Portwood and Glennon were both instructed to undergo monthly drug screenings for the next six months, with the television personality also instructed to “attend one-to-one counseling with the counselor of her choice and to follow any counselor’s recommendations.”

However, the judge approved a new custody agreement that will allow Portwood to have an overnight visit to James for the first time since 2019.

The new arrangement will be phased in, beginning with three visiting days per month for Amber, alternating between California and Indiana.

The former couple’s custody battle began in July 2019 when Portwood was arrested and charged with double domestic battery and a criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon after she was accused of assaulting Glennon while he was holding James.

In October 2019, Portwood pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic battery and intimidation. She was sentenced to 906 days probation and 26 weeks of tutoring.
