Tasha Ghouri has praised her boyfriend Andrew Le Page and expressed her hope of getting a TV show opportunity alongside him.
The 24-year-old Love Island star, who is deaf, has gushed about her “amazing” partner, 27, and how much effort he goes to to understand her “superpower”.
Speaking to Web, she said: “I’ve taught him some basic BSL now. He’s so involved that he researches on YouTube.

“I’m going to watch this video to learn more about my cochlear implant and he’s really researching and really engaging and it’s so beautiful because it’s something that’s such a big part of me.”
Last week, Andrew surprised Tasha with a personalized tattoo in tribute to her.
The reality star has a handwriting signature “I love you” in British Sign Language and is holding Tasha’s cochlear implant.
Tasha revealed she cried when she saw it, saying it proves the depth of their love for each other.

She said: “So he told me he was getting a tattoo and I was like what do you get and he said, ‘I’m not telling you!'”
“But he came home and surprised me with it, and I didn’t expect it. I started crying because no one has ever done that for me before and it just shows how much we love each other and what an amazing person he is. He really is an amazing person.’
She also discussed the possibility of following in the footsteps of Love Island winners Ekin-Su and Davide and doing a TV show together, saying: “We would love to have our own TV show if the opportunity arose !“
The pair have been growing stronger since leaving the villa, even moving into a shared flat in London last month, which Tasha said has made them even “stronger and closer”.

She explained: “Living together has been so good so far, we’re both so keen on making the flat our home.
“And it’s so nice to be able to come home and have a little hug and watch movies together and cook together. We both have some bad habits, but any relationship does.
“We’re so busy it’s nice to come home together at the end of the day. It makes our time so much more special. It’s nice to have that time apart and then get back together and it makes us stronger and closer.

Tasha dismissed fans who felt the couple moved in too soon, saying the timing “felt right.”
She said: “I don’t waste my time proving people wrong because they don’t know our relationship privately. All that matters is me and Andrew.
‘I don’t think you’ll get it unless you’ve been to the villa. You know you’re in the same bed and you don’t have phones you get so close and connect emotionally on some level.
“I think me and Andrew said we’re going to be true to ourselves and go with our feelings, that’s all that matters, nobody else’s opinion. It felt right.”

After such a big show, Tasha said their relationship hasn’t changed, but that being away from the cameras has given them more “freedom.”
She said: “It takes the pressure off because you don’t have it in your head that you’re always being filmed. It’s intense too, so it’s taken on that intensity and we can now relax and talk about whatever we want to talk about. So it’s nice to have that freedom.”
Discussing how she’s been handling her newfound fame, she added, “Because we’ve had so much love and support, it’s been so beautiful. But sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming because it’s a whole new world in a way and you don’t know what to expect when you come out, you don’t have your phones or something.
“For me and Andrew we were supportive of each other and everyone was so supportive and that’s why I enjoyed it every day. It was a whirlwind, but the best way possible.’

The campaign sheds light on how the £30 million raised weekly by National Lottery players is being used for charity across the UK.
Speaking about taking part in the campaign, Tasha said, “Personally, I’m very passionate about a campaign like this. It’s about putting SignKid in the spotlight. He is concerned with building a bridge between the deaf and hearing world and making art more accessible.
“The whole point is that people stop and look at it and see that a little bit of BSL is way off. And that’s why I was like, like, I’d like to be a part of this campaign, because it’s so important to use my voice for important things.

Tasha has become a role model for others by proudly showing off her cochlear implant and is determined to normalize disabilities.
She said: “I get very nervous because I feel like I don’t want to let people down. I want to make sure my voice is heard, I want to make sure I speak for my people.
“I think it’s more nerve than anything, but I love doing it because I’m so passionate about it. There is a fire in my stomach and I was born to do this.”
Tasha said she hopes she paved the way for Love Island to help more islanders with disabilities move forward.

She said: “I really hope Love Island continues that momentum because I think it’s so important to have that TV representation of people with super powers. Because anyone can find love, that’s the whole point.
“I really hope they continue this momentum because she’s had such a massive impact. The way girls with cochlear implants look up and think I could find love, Tasha is on TV. This is so amazing because that’s how it should be, it should be normal.
Tasha says she ignores negative comments and prefers to focus on the “love,” saying the negativity only drives her more.
She explained: “I’ll be honest, I don’t really see any negative comments. I don’t look for it, I focus on the good, positivity and love around me.
“If anything, the negativity gives me more motivation, gives me more fire. I kind of thank them because it’s like you’re just pushing me to work harder.
However, she is very picky about the projects she works on and says she is not motivated by money.
Tasha said: “With me, I choose things that make sense and that I’m passionate about. I don’t pick the things that have the most money, or just the best deal. I want to go with something that makes me happy.
“So far the opportunities I’ve been given have felt organic to me. I’m having fun with it.’
