Argentine prosecutors are suspicious of Spanish opera star Plácido Domingo. He is linked to a criminal group because of tape recordings. She is also held responsible for illegal prostitution in Argentina, including with minors.
Last week, the police carried out about 50 raids on “Grupo BA”, which operated under the name Buenos Aires Yoga School. 19 people were arrested. Several local media reported the actions, now excerpts of audio recordings were broadcast, which would have been caused by spying on the group.

Domingo, now 81, was one of the biggest opera stars in the world, thanks in part to his involvement in The Three Tenors alongside Luciano Pavarotti and José Carreras. In 2019, more than 20 women made public allegations of misconduct. As a result, Domingo parted ways with the New York Metropolitan Opera and resigned as general manager of the Los Angeles Opera.
In Europe, the accusations didn’t hurt Domingo, he also performed in Austria this year. The singer has yet to comment on the current allegations about the recordings.
