Rio Journalist Susana Naspolini posted a video on Instagram this Thursday of herself shaving her hair with the help of her daughter Júlia. Susana had recently said that her hair was very thin because of the chemotherapy. The reporter, who is battling cancer for the fifth time, even had himself treated with a cold hood to prevent the fall.
“I told you that from yesterday to today the hair has fallen out a lot more, it is very thin, especially at the back. There are many holes, they are very thin. It’s hair that you can’t take to the streets. I do not feel well. So I decided to shave it because it falls a lot. I’m ready with a machine, with a towel and I’ll get a haircut first,” Susana said in this Thursday’s video.
Then the journalist asked her daughter for help because she could not see her back. Julia helped her mother trim the excess hair with the scissors and then operated the razor. Júlia and Susana smiled throughout the video.

Susana Naspolini is fighting cancer for the fifth time. This time she faces the disease in the hip bone. The reporter announced on March 23 that she had been rediagnosed and that the cancer did not resolve with oral medication.
“I’m still kind of sad because I wasn’t expecting that trick. I wanted to do my job, but it’s not what we want. I’m doing this mandatory stop,” he said at the time.
