Shirley said: ‘About this time last year I was aware that my jaw was a little saggy and sagging, my skin was looking dull and a little bit lifeless and I wanted to get rid of all my spider veins and tighten the skin on my neck and chest’.

“I wanted to do my best, but I really didn’t want to go under the knife, so I thought I’d try this alternative route.”

Shirley modeled a chic range of outfits for the shoot and went makeup-free to showcase her freshly lifted skin and glowing complexion.

The procedure involved regular NeoGen plasma treatments, which used pulses of nitrogen plasma to deliver controlled high temperatures deep into skin tissue to massively boost collagen and elastin production.

The dance icon decided not to do panto last year and explains how a scary incident involving a letter being hand-delivered to the theater in 2021 influenced her decision.

She told S magazine in December: “It’s the first time I’ve taken any time off – ever! I am taking two and a half weeks off due to the immense amount of trolling I have received during this series.

“I have decided not to do panto this year. The last time I did I had a letter delivered personally to the theater which was very disgusting.’

“I actually kept it. I do not know why. So I’m going to take some time off and just pull myself together for the new year.
